Hey Florida, North Carolina and Virginia residents-- get out there!! We NEED you!!!
Liz or Nicky- if either of you is volunteering for the Obama camp and needs help going door to door or whatever let me know and I can try to come help.
Also Abbers, I'm sorry to hear what you're going through right now with Andrew... If you want to come take refuge in DC and get drunk and eat ice cream, get on a bus gus! I can imagine it might be hard to be around him right now, perhaps you should encourage him to move to Ohio and register to vote as soon as possible.

Good job Erica, I can feel your excitement!
Also, um, Andrew and I got back together, so like, that's all okay. It was premature, I guess, to break up. We were both very sad and realized that the issues were not worth losing each other over. And I think he's going back to school now! Yay! I mean, I'm hoping. It's looking more hopeful than it was before...
Shame, shame on me... I have not registered in VA. I will be voting in MD. That map is scary red. I hope that with the populations of the blue states, we are not as outnumbered as we look. I do know one girl whose been living in Arizona and registered to vote there. She is one blue vote that we can count on. I also have lots of fantasies about using the McCain signs I see down here as punching bags or shooting holes in them or painting big black Xs over them or just taking them down and hauling them away, etc. Charlottesville at least has a good amount of democrats (from what I can tell by looking for bumper stickers). Anyway, this is a long comment and my triceps are burning from the gym and I have an anatomy mid-term Wednesday. Go Obama!
Abby- YAY! I still wish I could hug you though.
can you give Andrew 3 prius punches from Japan? (silver, white, and blue)
I think a State-wide McCain Noodling is in order!!!!
And I'm especially curious to hear Nicky and Gwyns thoughts on the Election. Nicky prompts the discussions, but declines to comment...we want to hear you too!!!!
I:m going to finally update my blog today, hurrahs!
Good point Becca. I am definitely voting for Obama, because I agree with most of his platform. That being said, I find Obama/Biden's stance on gay marriage extremely dissapointing.
Why are we using a religious definition as the precedent for legal status. Separation of church and state, what? That bothers me.
Beyond that, Palin frightens me. I'm not interested in a VP who could sit down at dinner with me...I want a VP who inspires trust and respect in the eyes of the leaders of the world. Being "cute" and winking doesn't inspire me to send a vote in her direction, and I think that by embracing a "ain't i just super smart AND cute, folks?" attitude she sets women back 50 years. A woman can be powerful, intelligent and beautiful without resorting to childish, attention getting behavior.
I really wish I was registered in VA - Tom Perriello is running against this Goode jerk for Congress. We need Tom in Congress! I so wish I could vote for him :(
