Hey, so I hear Hawaii is pretty cool and will soon be even more so, due to your presence there :)
I'm so happy to hear about your next life phase and the cool location and awesome job to go with it :)
Love you!
Thanks, dudette! I hear good things about Scotland too! I'll get a good life update on here soon. How about you, Spads?? What's your life looking like these days? How is your heart? What new beer have you discovered, and do Scottish men have great beards?
I'm doing ok. I really like Scotland, and my program is interesting but not overly time-consuming, so I still have some time to travel and stuff. I'm very much looking forward to Stokar's (Stokars' ?- not sure which is grammatically correct, as they are plural...) imminent arrival and subsequent whisk(e)y drinking that is planned.
The facial hair/scruffiness is awesome. I have had a lot of fun surreptitiously checking out dudes through my sunglasses, though, sunny weather is about to end, so I'm going to have to find another way...or just become much less surreptitious :)
I'm a bit behind on the alcohol tasting (I know, I know -- I'll get on it) but I've heard rumors of Scottish beer brewed with heather, so I'm going to try to track some down soon.
My heart is...ok. I think it helps that I left Eugene and am in entirely new circumstances. Since everything is weird, it makes it less weird that Nick's not around. And well, all the scruffy dudes with hiking boots help.
I will also try to get an update on here soon (though, I keep saying that and not following through). I'm trying to do one with pictures, but I haven't really tried to get them off my phone. I'm so technologically challenged...
Miss you! Good luck with the move. I'm sending good packing/travel vibes your way.
