Security is mostly a superstition. It does not exist in nature nor do the children of man as a whole experience it. Avoiding danger is no safer in the long run than outright exposure. Life is either a daring adventure, or nothing. -Helen Keller
I'm not sure that I agree with this. There are definitely low risk (eating an apple in your house) and high-risk (driving recklessly through the Andes, taking experimental club drugs) activities. I agree that the idea of complete security is nonsense through.
