I cannot believe that I got to 37 weeks this week. So strange, because in the beginning you're like, "9 months? That's almost a year," and the next thing you know the midwife is looking at you and saying, "Well, you're full term as of this week. Could be any time in the next day to 3 weeks."
We're almost ready with all the material stuff (thanks in no small part to awesome gifts from our friends!) and now all that's left is finding a pediatrician and getting the car seat installed by the local fire department. That's crazy. Well, and labor. but from what I hear that is also crazy, albeit crazy in an empowering, life-affirming way.
I think we're both still wrapping our heads around the fact that in a very short time, someone is going to hand us an exceptionally tiny human and let us go home with it. On the one hand, I'm so excited! On the other hand, whaaaaaat?
But thankfully, I have you all as friends to show our bump how to be crazy, exciting, unique, and awesome individuals. And for that I will always be thankful :) Love you guys.

Yeaaaaaah Nicky! Way to pave the path for procreation! You must be full of such intense feelings. I can not even imagine what that all feels like! I'm pumped for you and Mik and Bumpy. What a fine family you're about to have. Do you have boy and girl names picked out? Waiting to see who the baby is before assigning a name? Going to let your baby choose his or her own name when he/she is old enough to talk? haha.
Bumpy and Denty!
I love you so much, Nicky and I love the bump so much already too!!
Yay Nicky and Mik and Bumpy!!! So excited for you guys :) Can't wait to meet the new addition! I love you all <3
Wow, that's insanely exciting. Can't wait to meet the Bump!!!
Holy crap. I can't believe you are about to pop out a tiny human :) I'm with Abs - have to say that I'm super curious about names :) I love you both and your uterus so much.
Missing you lots.
