So the Becca quotation is perfection. At the shower, my mother kept saying "I know your friend Becca W, but when I looked at her all I could see was the word 'giraffe' so I think she thought I couldn't remember her name." My mother was with me on a Nordstrom shopping trip when a certain embroidered scarf was obtained, so I suppose such an association is only natural. Also, Becca looks as though she is part giraffe....
<--- And this is my life now.
Yes, Abby, I am wearing the awesome scarf you gave me.
Any good stories to distract me from reading? Taking pics of myself in the library is creepy.

so, i don't know if this will entertain, but it really freaked me out. i've had the flu for about a week, and last night was the night of weird dreams. so, in the first dream, nick and i were driving in separate cars down a long, dark, mountainous road. and then there was a lion in the middle of the road. and then a panther jumped through my car.
so that was weird, but the second dream was weirder. nicky, liz, tokar, and i were all sitting in a classroom in sleeping bags on air mattresses. and one of us had just had a baby. i'm unclear whose it was. i don't think it was mine... but anyway it was weirdly small and spongey. and we used it as an eraser on the whiteboard in the classroom. and liz kept saying, 'see, it likes it'. so, so strange.
so yeah. that happened. also, in continuance of the giraffe theme, there's this: http://i.imgur.com/yAfVM.jpg
That is a very cute picture of you, Erica. Books, highlighters, and coffee. I've been sort of in the same boat this month studying for boards - minus the coffee. I'm trying to give up coffee/reduce my caffeine intake. So far I end up drinking twice as much tea. Not as entertaining as Erin's fever dreams, poor thing.
Those were some feverish dreams, McS... and, wow, I was creepy. I'm so sorry you've been so sick :( I hope you feel better soon. I wish I could send a bowl of Amy's No Chicken Noodle across the country to you.
Giraffe Boob Socks!
@Erica: Your highlights look good!
@Erin: Yikes! I think I know whose baby it is... and hopefully it will be less spongy come birth! (Fully conjecture, people, but I believe in the importance of giving full consideration to dream imagery.)
@Liz: Good luck on OT boards! Are you sure you want to kick coffee right now when it has the potential to be so beneficial?
@Erin: Why wasn't I in the classroom? Does that mean that I'm not getting a good education? Actually, on second thought, maybe I don't need dream class in sleeping bags since I have both of those things in real life.

@Erin: Both dreams are interesting, what do they mean? Mik's always looking up things on dreammoods.com. I think that's suprisingly whimsical, as aside from his writing he's pretty down-to-earth. Anything ring a bell for you?
@Liz and Erica (wait Liz, Erica, Abby and Erin, right?): Go studying team go!
@Abby: Loved your camping pictures and accompanying story. Getting it on camping-style = excellente plus awesome homemade hot tub.
