Hey,
Are any of ya'll planning on going to the SMC alumnae weekend in June? If so, can we, like, plan to be roomies? ;) I'm kinda interested, but it would be weird going to SMC without some slash all of the Quad Blog present (although, I assume those who are now far away = Erica, Nicky, Abby (?), others (?) probably won't make it) ...
Love,
McS

I wish I could be your roomie, old roomie! Only problem is that I'm in a wedding that weekend so I can't come Friday or Saturday :( If you do go down, I would like to meet up with you on Sunday because the wedding is down in that area (greenwell or greenbriar state park or something) and I'll be super close! We can at least have a little church point/pier/barefoot time before going home.
I think I'd like to go! I wasn't sure if anyone was going, but this sounds like a lot of fun! What events are you going to?
I might be interested in going, but I think it is pretty expensive....? Anyone have ideas on costs? Also rugby alumbi weekend is May 1st so i was thinking of going to that. but if you guys are going down in June, then I want to be with you :)
I followed most of the links through to get an idea of costs, but didn't finish signing up... Before getting a room, it would have been $63 (with the picnic, half a dozen crabs, lake cruise on Saturday, and brunch on Sunday but NOT with the italian dinner on Saturday, 'cause that was about $30 by itself) then another $50 per night (abouts) but with two beds in the room. I think that seems pretty reasonable... I could swing about $100 for two nights, good hangouts, and being back at SMC for a weekend. :)
That does sound fun, and thanks for taking initiative, MCS. Unfortunately, I have a wedding that weekend also. In Omaha. Um... maybe I could drive to DC, fly to Omaha from DC, then fly back after the wedding and come for Sunday like Liz? The wedding is Friday the 11th so I could totally travel on Saturday. Yeah... um, I'll think about it! I have not been back, even once, since graduation. It could be great fun. Minus Tokar. So... mediocre fun.
