I just wanted to vent about how selfish people can be. There were a lot of traffic lights out today because of the storms (atleast 15 on my way home from work!) and the intersections were chaos. Isn't it true that when the light is out, you treat the intersection as a four way stop?? People just kept driving through one after another without stopping and letting anyone else go. When I stopped as you are supposed to, I got honked at by the people behind me. Its called TAKING TURNS and you learn it in kindergarten. I wanted to give everyone on the road a time out... or a ticket and send them back to kindergarten... or traffic school. All the power outages also reminded me how terribly reliant we are on electricity. Scary.
In other news, school is out next Thursday and then I am moving in with Trevor!
How goes your second transplant, Nicky?

Yay moving in with Trevor! Are you ready?
In moving news...we leave in a week. Hopefully. We still have to find a moving company and car transport, but Crispin confirmed that we have somewhere to go when we get to Miami, and they are also booking our flight with the cats. Whew. I am completely freaking out!!! I can't believe we leave so soon! It is insane! (I say "still find" but we have estimates etc, we just have to pick one. And change our address, and cancel our utilities, and get a PO box, and get the cats flying certificates, and....GAH!!!!!)
holy cow, nicky! That's a lot to do!
Liz- Dude, moving in with Trevor? Wow. That's a big step. Hal of ya'll have done it, half of us haven't. That'll be so fun!
I am so glad that you are the type of person to insist upon taking turns at the unelectrified light. You might be similarly satisfied to know that I just read all of the disclaim rules before clicking, "I Agree" when signing up to play Ultimate Frisbee this summer.
