kinda freaking out about this...
... but also ok with it.

ok - so, news from gastonia:
lori's getting married.
it's so weird. she hasn't been married since i was 7. she's marrying a great guy, who's name is lynn. however, his 2 children will be joining the family -- ages 8 and 12!!
so anyway, that is my news. and it's about all i've been able to think about for the past few days. i still need to call lynn to say congrats, but i've been putting it off, as awkward phone calls make me want to vomit.
i do want to say again that i'm actually ok with it -- it's just a lot to process.
i hope life is fabulous for everyone else.

ps. i feel like i only use the blog to announce life-altering occurrences that happen to me. i do, however, read all of your posts, and will try to write generally about my day at some point soon :)
pps - no one 'knows' about this, yet, so if my mom happens to ... call you (?) (it's sad that i have to act as if this could randomly happen, but apparently it has in the past), you probably don't know about it :)
